Moisture lost in treated wood by weight


When purchased pressure treated wood is often quite wet. Below is a graph of weight loss over time.

For size critical use, it might be best to wait a year of drying before cutting. A final loss of about 15% water - unfortunately we didn't measure the wood as well.
