# rndc sync -clean  ; syncs the changes in the journal file for a dynamic zone to the DB file it self
                    ; the --clean tells it to delete the jnl file. 

# rndc freeze       ;suspends updates to a dynamic zone

# rndc thaw         ;enables  updates to a frozen dynamic zone
# rndc flush        ; Flush the entire named cache
